The facilities are located across the resort and offer something for everyone - relaxing spa treatments, lots of sports, childcare facilities for children from six months old, an area for older children and teenagers ( Playstations and Wiis). A gourmet food market for supplies for your villa or house and even ‘take away’ freshly prepared meals to enjoy in your house or villa.

The two or three bedroom terraced village houses have two floors with the living area on the upper floor offering views of the ocean, nature reserve or surrounding woodland. Pinewood houses each have an outdoor pool. The terraced two or three bedroom vills Mimosa have a small garden and views of the ocean or the Port of Baleira and  they share use of the Club House with its 18m pool. Alternatively there are three or four bedroom luxury villas, each with their own private pool.

KENYA

CHEETAH SERENA SAFARI

The Cheetah Safari covers a wide area and shows the very best of Kenya including Sambura, the Rift Valley and the Maasai Mara. Mileages are quire long and road conditions can be poor on occasion, however you see more of the country and the wildlife is truly unforgettable.

The itinerary is as follows:

Nairobi : 1 night 

Sambura: 2 nights ~ Drive to the beautiful Sambura National Park with lunch en route before enjoying a game drive in the afternoon. Spend the next two nights in Sambura Serena Lodge.

Mt Kenya: 1 night ~ Drive to Mt Kenya National Park and the beautiful set Serena Mountain Lodge. Set under the slopes of Mt Kenya amongst dense forest, the lodge enjoys its own water hole frequented by wildlife day and night.

Lake Nakuru: 1 night ~ Drive via Thomson’s Falls to Lake Nakura for a game drive and lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the National Park and overnight at Lake Nakura Lodge.

Maasai Mara: 2 nights ~ After breakfast drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve with lunch en route. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge. Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You may take the optional Balloon Safari over the Mara. The Mara Serena is spectacularly located high on a hill with amazing views over hte Mara River in one of the best locations for game viewing.

Depart for Nairobi after breakfast arriving in time for a delicious lunch at Lord Eroll Restaurant. You can extend your stay either on the Kenya Coast or Zanzibar or return home at this stage.
